Click to enlarge80m Inverted-L Antenna (Base-loaded for 160m) by MØEZP

Click to enlargeAn End Fed Halfwave Antenna by G3YCC
This end fed type of antenna was marketted in the UK and is a useful system for the portable set-up. Being a half wave, no radials or counterpose wires are needed.

The antenna is inspired on the 'Battlecreek Special' design, but then limited to 80 and 160m (no 40m section). It is a further development of the 80m full size GPA described on another page of my site, allowing dual band operation.

Click to enlargeThe End-Fed Halfwave Antenna by AA5TB
The end-fed halfwave antenna is among my favorite for field operation. It is easy to setup, can be used without a feedline, and performs well. The end-fed halfwave antenna is a resonant half wavelength long antenna ...
