I was encouraged recently on 40m to submit the information on my 40m Reversible Moxon rectangle.

Click to enlargeA Shortened 7MHz Dipole by GM4JMU
The shortened dipole for 7 mHz was described by Ken GM4JMU in Sprat 74. It is made from insulated wire. The coils are wound on 40mm ferrite as above, with 40 turns of the same wire on 1.5 ins PVC tube.

Compact 40 Meter HF Loop for Your Recreational Vehicle by W6NBC
Want something better than a mobile HF whip antenna while camping in an RV park?
Try a tilt-up compact HF loop.

EH Antenna for 7MHz by F5SWN
An 50 cm (19.68 in.) 7MHz antenna suitable for indoor or a small outdoor cleared area?

Click to enlargeFerrite Rod TX Antennas by G3XBM
As a quick experiment today (Jan 31st 2013) I tried using my small ferrite rod as a TX antenna. The rod has about 80 turns of 0.5mm diameter wire wound on it for when it is used as a loading coil on 472kHz.

Klik voor vergrotingFull 1/4 wave vertical for 40m by ON7AMI
To construct the antenna, I used 6 tubes of each 2m length. Starting at 10mm diameter for the top and ending with 36 mm at the foot. To assemble the rods I made a cut in the top of each tube.

High-Efficiency 40m Vertical Without Radials by W6NBC
This shortened easy-to-build vertical, with no-radials, is made from surplus military camouflage poles. It has gain and wave angle comparable to a full-sized ¼λ ground plane antenna with radials.

The K4VX Linear-Loaded Dipole for 7 MHz by K4VX
Here’s a very simple and practical way to make a short but efficient 40-meter dipole.
